Sarcastic Posters for Photographers

Some of these are quite funny - if not based on some true situations.

Canon 28-300mm ƒ3.5-5.6 L series lens

This lens could be a suitable purchase for wedding and event photographers.  At £2099 it isn't cheap, but much cheaper than two Canon L Series EF lenses.

Canon EF 28-300mm f3.5/5.6L IS USM lens

It is a shame this lens is not that fast as for most focal lengths it will be ƒ4-5.6.  New DSLRs have massively improved in low light photography so you could photograph at 800-3200 ISOs when indoors as noise is not that much of an issue.

One major advantage is that you won't need to change lenses through out the day with this massive 11x zoom from 28-300mm so that you will have a single lens to cover most shots.
  • 11x zoom
  • L-series quality
  • Image Stabilizer
  • Full-time manual focus
  • Dust-proof, splash-proof construction
  • Circular aperture diaphragm
  • E-TTL II distance metering
  • Lens coatings optimised for digital cameras
  • Closest focusing distance: 0.7m (at all zoom focal lengths)
  • Not compatible with Canon Extenders
  • Compatible with Extension Tube EF12 II
  • Compatible with Extension Tube EF25II (only in Tele mode)
  • Filter size: 77mm
  • Dimensions: 9.2D x 18.4L cm
  • Weight: 1670g

Having used Castle Cameras recently, I can say their service was excellent and this price isn't bad either.

Phil and Buddy the Horse

Me and Buddy the Horse (RIP), photographed by Ed Morton; very sadly poor old Buddy is no longer with us.  He was an amazing animal, beautiful, powerful and anatomically huge, his head is the size of my body.  After meeting him for five minutes he seemed to connect really with me at the time this picture was taken.  Coincidentally, my name Philip a Greek derivative, means 'Fond of Horses'.

Phil Richardson and Buddy

To be honest I am fond of all animals really and humanise them as much as possible, so this picture is both special and sad for me.  It is a shame to think this wonderful creature is no longer around.
